The Board of Directors for Westwind Forest Stewardship Inc., the not-for-profit community-based Sustainable Forest License holder for the French-Severn Forest- commemorated General Manager Barry Davidson for his 25 years of service.  Barry is a registered professional forester who began his tenure with Westwind based out of Parry Sound in 1998 as the forester before becoming the Forest Manager responsible for silviculture and forest planning management.  He took on the role of General Manager in April 2021.  Left to right –Tom Clark, Barry Davidson, Susan Jarvis, John McNutt, Chief Adam Pawis, Joe Johnson,  Jim Coleman (Chair Rob Keen took photo).  Westwind celebrated its 25 year anniversary of in 2022 and 2023 marks its 25 years of holding the Sustainable Forest License for this forest that spans from Algonquin Park to Georgian Bay and the French River to the Severn River.
